For a team lead: send decisions to a person

Choose which decisions reach a person and which follow a rule your people agreed.

Steps

  1. Name the decision owner for your team. Cards go to the person you name.
  2. Decide where the line sits. Anything consequential or irreversible always goes to a person. You decide the rest, lane by lane.
  3. Act on each card on the Desk. Each card leads with the question and a recommendation, with options side by side and evidence attached.
  4. Agree rules for decisions that keep coming back. Draw them from the owner's rulings, with the owner and anyone else you name, such as compliance.

What you have at the end

The decisions that need a person reach one, on the record, and repeat questions follow the agreed rule.
