# Start one team's copy

> The step that sets up a shared memory and a decision record for one team, behind the tools it already uses.

## Before you start

A review sheet for one scoped connection, from the team. The fit check and the one-rule check come first; if you skip them, the decision owner says so in writing.

## Steps

1. Pick one team of 5 to 30 people, and the AI tool it already uses.
2. Give IT the review sheet for one scoped connection between that tool and the team's copy. It is written down before anything connects.
3. Connect once IT approves. That one connection is the only change this step needs.
4. Check the connection does only what the sheet says, and that the off switch works.
5. Keep working in the tools the team already uses. Decision cards stay off until the next step.

## What you have at the end

A shared memory for the team, and a running record of what was decided and by whom, forming behind the tools it already uses.
