# Ask over REST

> Send a question to POST https://octo.ad/api/ask and read the answer and the follow-up.

## Steps

1. Send `POST https://octo.ad/api/ask` with a JSON body holding `message`. Keep the message under 2,000 characters.
2. Read `answer` and `follow_up` from the response.
3. To continue, send the `session_id` you got back with your next message.
